Pivotal Ventures, a philanthropic group founded by Melinda Gates, has announced the Gender Equality in Tech (GET) Cities initiatives, a $50-million project designed to transform tech hubs into more inclusive places for women. Said Gates, “As the tech industry continues to expand beyond Silicon Valley to other areas across the country, we have the opportunity to reimagine what the sector could look like."
