Sebastian Raschka is an assistant professor of Statistics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and lead AI educator at Grid.ai (formerly Lightning AI). He has written two bestselling books: Python Machine Learning and Machine Learning with PyTorch and Scikit-Learn.

In an interview, Raschka talks about how he got into AI, ordinal regression, solving rank inconsistency with conditional probability, and semi-adversarial networks. He also discusses why he got into education as well as Grid.ai.
